It's back!

After months of waiting, American Idol has returned, and what a better way to return that to exploit the lack of talent. I know I shouldn't laugh at some of the people, but it is amazing what people will go to in order to try and make the show. It is hysterical. On a serious note, I don't think this year's winner is from Minneapolis. I didn't see anyone that really stood out. Anyone wanna disagree?

We are AI addicts, but I prefer to start watching once they are in Hollywood. Eric likes to watch the auditions. Last night we were fighting over the remote because I kept wanting to mute the t.v. every time someone really, really stunk, and there were quite a few of those. What are people thinking? Seriously! I agree that there really wasn't anyone exceptional last night, though I think the hispanic girl has some potential in the long run.

Well what people are thinking is that they get their 15 minutes of fame regardless as they have to sign a release form to get on...and you know at least some of it is "staged" as they have to go through 3 rounds of auditions before they even get to Simon and the crew. I still love watching it and the bad singing makes me laugh out loud!
