Oh the joys of being a camp director...

Well there are good things and bad things about being a camp director.
THE BAD:
  • dealing with angry parents who have homesick kids
  • dealing with noise complaints
  • paying for broken things
  • camp food
  • lack of sleep
  • being the first to arrive for set up
  • being the last to leave due to a broken down van for one of the groups

THE GOOD

  • kids having fun
  • stories being told
  • original pranks I wish I would have thought of
  • lives being forever changed

Don't know about you, but I'll take the bad since the good outweighs it any time. Camp was good, I felt it was a good week and all seemed to have a great week. GOD IS GOOD!

I've been wondering where you were. Eric directed or asst. directed children's camp for 4 summers, and I was actually involved for a 5th summer in NY. It was always an exhausting, but fulfilling, week.

Hey Bud.
Our prayers were answered. I asked the churches we have been singing in to pray for you as directoe. Sounds like this year was much better than last year. Good job!!! We're pround of you!! Love Dad
