So Megan turns 30 on Sunday (She's gonna kill me for posting that) and I want to get her a very special gift.
Her dream is to go to NYC, which won't happen right away, but maybe later this year. Anyone know how I can get a cheap package or have any suggestions for MUST SEE'S/DO's?
I really want to make this special for her, so I am open to suggestions.

I just got back from a trip to NYC. I've been a few times since I've moved to DC... Central Park is great fun to walk through, we took a boat tour of the harbor that got close to StofLib and the views were great too. Yesterday we walk through parts of the MET, that was really cool, but they supposedly have another site, near 190th street where they have brought together parts of five monasteries (or something similar) from Europe... it sounded REALLY incredible, but I thought it be nice to wait for warmer weather!! We did some "window shoping" in some of the stores near the park on 5th Ave. and were really blown away by the "on sale" dresses for ONLY $4,000!!! Around midtown and 6th and 7th ave there are a ton of really fun looking restaurants... each one we've stumbled upon/tried has been great:). The only recomendation I have is to wait till it's a little warmer... that below freezing air was not so fun!! Happy Birthday!! Lisa Wright
